Celebration of Life

2 Timothy 4:7-8

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.”

Your mother is always with you…

She’s the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street. She’s the smell of bleach in your freshly laundered socks. She’s the cool hand on your brow when you’re not well. Your mother lives inside your laughter. She’s crystallized in every tear drop…

Tributes

“Mama Victoria Nyaithiru was a God fearing woman who believed that ultimately all good things are the result of a life of honesty, faith and hard work.

The Head of State said the late Mama Nyaithiru’s importance to society and the country is reflected in her children’s contribution to Kenya’s socio-economic transformation.

“She loved her family and was fiercely protective of her children, raising them on a value-based upbringing which is reflected in their successful lives.

“Certainly we can see the fruits of her keen parenting through her children some of whom are prominent leaders of our times,”

H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta

REMEMBERING MAMA VICTORIA NYAITHIRU

Mama Victoria represented a thousand rays of sunshine, always radiating love, warmth and inspiration to those around her. She was a compassionate and gentle person who represented the greatest qualities of a mother. Every time one spent time with her, they left feeling fully nourished and doted on. She was a joy, she gave joy and now, God has given her the joy and peace that she spread so selflessly and beautifully here on earth. We will miss her ever so dearly.

My deepest thoughts and prayers are with my friend and sister, Njoki, Angie, Tony, and the entire family. May God continue to give you comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lovingly,
Amina Mohamed

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Aunty Victoria, as she holds a special place in our hearts. Our late sister Caroline, Evelyn and Jaine were her flowergirls during her wedding in Portsmouth, England. She was the most beautiful bride we had ever seen. We remember her for her grace, charm, immense love for her family and strong faith in God.
To our Mum, she was the young sister she never had. We recall many a visit when Aunty Victoria and Mum would talk for hours on end.
Our heartfelt condolences to Aunty’s family.
May she rest in eternal peace.

I send my sincere condolences to the family and friends of my dear friend and client Vicky as I fondly called her. I share with you the loss of a wonderful and warm person who brought laughter and joy to everyone she met their status notwthstanding. Vicky trusted me as a young lawyer to represent her in very difficult family disputes. As we navigated that difficult legal terrain, I came to admire her strength in character which was deeply rooted in her faith in God. She always reminded me Justice flows like a river no matter the obstacles put on the way it prevails. An excellent woman of God who believed in hard work and claimed and defended what was her due share. Her case was precedent setting and is cited as authority. I admired how she cared and protected her children. Her daughter who you all know was also my friendand compariot in the struggle for human rights Hon Justice Njoki Ndugu was never involved as Vicky did not want her children taking sides with either of the parents. Vicky was a public servant per excellence she served in many institutions before she retired and relocated to the US. She was a woman of courage that was demonstrated in the way she stoically battled her illness. She enjoyed every moment of her life which she lived to the fullest. My only regret is that I had not fufiled my promise to visit her in the US. Untill we meet again Rest in God’s peace untill we meet again Rest in love and power. May God continue to bless and comfort your dear family.

With Sincere and Deepest Sympathy
In the Loss of your Mother. Her life is your legacy, her love was her gift and your precious memories of her are the Comfort you’ll treasure and keep in your heart forever. RIPüíî‚ù§üôèüôè
